EcoXplore provides engaging, inspirational and informative environmental education tours for primary age school groups and holiday groups.
-School group tours are linked directly to the NSW Science Syllabus, the NSW Geography Syllabus and the cross-curriculum priorities Sustainability + Aboriginal histories & cultures (great for NAIDOC)
The tours take place in virtually untouched bush land at North Head Sanctuary, Manly. Walk with us through one of the most critically endangered ecological communities in all of NSW and learn about the unique plants and animals that live here.
Students have the chance to explore, discover and learn about a very unique and special area of nature – and it’s virtually located in their backyard! The goal of the tours are to provide the students with maximum exposure and interaction with the outdoor environment whilst also providing grounding and follow up to ensure comprehensive learning. We want the kids to get outside and have a meaningful experience in nature by being actively involved and participating in hands on activities.
